A curated collection of limited edition prints drawn from the archive of Swedish painter Stig Lundgren.
STIG LUNDGREN
Stig Lundgren devoted his life to painting, developing a distinctive and expressive visual language shaped by colour, intuition, and a deep connection to the landscapes of northern Sweden.
Born in Boden, Sweden, he later moved to Stockholm to study at Konstfack and the Royal Institute of Art, where he refined a practice grounded in independence and a strong personal vision. Working outside of prevailing trends, he remained committed to his own visual language throughout his career, creating work that continues to resonate with a quiet sense of presence and depth.
Stig Lundgren Art is managed by his closest family and was established to preserve and share his artistic legacy. The family holds a significant private collection of original works, including paintings, works on paper, sketches, and archival material, which is carefully maintained with a long-term view toward preservation. Through this work, selected pieces are made available as limited edition prints, allowing the work to be experienced in new contexts and by future generations.
